We are trusted importers and distributors in the UAE and Angola, supplying essential goods through over 15 retail outlets. The UAE serves as a critical re-export hub, enabling us to efficiently connect global markets and ensure the seamless delivery of high-demand products.
Real Estate
We maintain a strong presence in the UAE and USA through Yemane Real Estate, specializing in office and apartment buildings. We also operate under Solmak USA LLC to expand our real estate offerings.
Hospitality

Our journey began in 1979, with a young man from Eritrea carrying a bold dream to build something bigger than himself. Starting from nothing, our founder’s perseverance transformed obstacles into opportunities, and by 1988, he was at the forefront of Ethiopia’s FMCG sector.
The conflict between Eritrea and Ethiopia in 1998 shifted our path to Dubai, where Wadi Bailool was born. Competing in the bustling Al Ras market, we quickly expanded our trading and distribution network to become a household name in FMCG.
Our growth story didn’t stop there. By 2001, we entered Angola under our sister companies Solmak Commercio Lda and Eri-Sol Commercio Lda, establishing Wadi Bailool as a trusted importer and distributor. We began manufacturing soap and detergents through TYO Industries Lda and are now expanding into food products for manufacturing in Angola. In 2006, we extended our reach to South Sudan, opening hotels and bringing our signature blend of service
and innovation to the region.
In real estate, we expanded into the USA and UAE through Solmak USA LLC and Yemane Real Estate, acquiring prime office and apartment buildings. Through resilience and a relentless pursuit of excellence, we have grown into a diversified company with a global presence—yet our heart remains deeply rooted in our founder's inspiring journey.
